In February 2026, we moved to the historic Gävlenlinna building which is located next to the Joensuu Church, close to the city centre.
Our kindergarten also has its own safe and pleasant playground for outdoor play and physical activities.

Good to Know
Since January 2019, families in Joensuu apply for a daycare service voucher through the City of Joensuu’s early childhood education services.Before applying for the service voucher, a service agreement is always made between the guardian and the English Play School.The childcare fee (the parents’ co-payment) is the same as in municipal daycare.
